The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane
Kate Dicamillo I fell in love with this book the moment I saw the cover. I haven’t been this excited about a new children’s book in a long time. It is a classic in the making. (by the author of Because of Win-Dixie) Edward Tulane is a china rabbit who lives a very posh life until the day he becomes “lost”. He travels from the lap of luxury to some unsuitable but very lovable places and learns a thing or two along the way about values. This is a delightful “please don’t stop reading” book that every child and the adults that read to them will love. Let me know what you think of it. |
