BMS Curriculum Overview

Our science sequence begins with a basic question. Is it living or non-living? Once that criterion is determined, we focus on living things. There are activities that teach the parts of plants, trees and leaves and another sequence that focuses on each classification of animals.

We also study the planets, the parts of the human body and growth cycles. The youngest children begin the work with puzzles. The more advanced students make labeled booklets for each of their studies.
