BMS Curriculum Overview

Sensorial

The Sensorial area is designed to encourage children to develop their senses to observe, compare, contrast, discriminate, reason, decide, solve problems, create order and appreciate the world.

Activities in this area are grouped by sense (visual, tactile, auditory, etc.), and they encourage students to practice sorting, grading, matching (equality) and noticing differences (inequality). Many of the activities in the Sensorial area also function as introductory mathematics.
