About our School
Founded in 1984 Bedford Montessori School is committed to providing quality Montessori education to young children. Our school follows the Montessori philosophy and our staff are dedicated to the children in their care. Each classroom has a certified Montessori lead teacher from accredited Montessori training programs and the Director is also Montessori certified. Additional staff providing specialist enrichment classes include two native Spanish speaking teachers, a yoga teacher, a Cookery teacher and a teacher for the Drumlin Farm Nature Detectives program.
Bedford Montessori School is a non-profit organization with a Board of Trustees comprising current and former parents, members of our local community and the school director.
Located in the Science & Technology district in the town of Bedford, our school building offers light, airy classroom environments for our students. Our programs are designed for children ranging in age from 1.8 years to 7 years and the classrooms are bright and modern with easy access to our outdoor play areas.
With well trained staff, low student to teacher ratios and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy, our school provides a close-knit, caring, family-style environment, resulting in the development of close relationships with children and families, based on mutual trust and respect.

“When the child has come to understand something it is not the end, but only the beginning.”
