Beginners

In learning by doing, the children in the Beginners program start to make sense of the world around them. With the focus on active exploration, this supportive environment provides the children with opportunities to develop their large motor and fine motor skills and acquire language whilst fostering social and emotional growth.

The mixed age classroom introduces the children to the different areas of the Montessori curriculum with age appropriate activities and the children work to develop concentration, coordination and a sense of order as well as joyful independence. The teachers provide individual attention and are both sensitive and responsive to the children’s needs.

• For children ages 1.8 – 3 years
• Maximum class size 9 children with two teachers
• Full and half-day schedules and 3 or 5 day options available
• Our Before School and After School programs are open to children 2.9 years and above
