Beginners Curriculum

For our Beginners, the curriculum is primarily focused on practical life activities related to the development of:

• Ability to care for oneself
• Ability to take care of the environment
• Self-control
• Large-motor skills
• Fine-motor skills
• Ability to communicate
• Experimentation
• Problem Solving
• Concentration
• A work cycle of activity
• Grace & Courtesy skills
• Empathy

Other skills such as classifying, sorting, seriation, discrimination of size, shape, color and sound are also an integral part of the classroom daily life. Our Beginners also participate in Music & and Movement each day in class and each week are introduced to simple Spanish songs at circle time.
